The Fundraising Company is proud to be part of so many couples adoption journeys over the years. We understand how difficult it is to raise funds for an adoption. On average, an adoption in the United States can run anywhere from $5,000 to $40,000. If you are considering to adopt internationally, that can easily turn into about $20,000 to $50,000 in expenses. Needless to say, adoption doesn’t come easy. Oftentimes, couples find themselves in financial hardships during the adoption process.
The Fundraising Company offers a free and easy fundraising solution for adoptions. We have worked with hundreds of families across the nation reach their adoption fundraising goals. We understand that raising thousands of dollars isn’t easy. By collecting shoes for fundraising, we can help families raise a portion of that money.
Some of The Fundraising Company most successful adoption fundraisers have raised over $4,000.00 by simply collecting new or gently worn shoes. All you need to do is collect shoes. You set up your own timeline. When you are done, we arrange for a pick up. You get paid based off your total weights. We provide you with marketing materials such as a custom made flyer for your shoe drive and help you with social media exposure. It’s that simple. The Fundraising Company has had the opportunity to partner with very special groups. Near and dear to our hearts are our adoption families. In the last year, we have worked with 16 families to complete fundraisers and help bring children home to their forever families. We currently have five adoption fundraisers in the works in Tennessee, two in North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. We have seen such amazing passion and hard work in these families while working on their adoption fundraisers. Because of this, we have been able to give $67,762.22 to these fundraisers, and have seen children unite with a family.
The first adoption shoe drive The Fundraising Company coordinated was with the Jensen Family. From December of 2012 to February of 2013, the Jensen’s collected over 12,000 pairs of shoes.
Between the clothing drive they did and their amazing shoe drive, they raised $11,000 to bring home Sofi! Orange County Register Article about the Jensen Fundraiser The Mighty also did an article after Sofi came home to her family. Another of our families is the Dehoog family. They initially were adopting a little boy from Russia but got caught in the adoption ban. They were heartbroken, but determined to add another child to their family. They found another sweet boy in the Ukraine, and had a very short time frame to bring him home. The Fundraising Company was able to work with them to raise money for their adoption. They hosted a shoe drive and watched their community rally around them. The Press Enterprise wrote an article featuring the Dehoog story to help them collect more shoes for their fundraiser.
The Dehoog family had an amazing outpouring support from their local community and raised $6925
